Antonio De Maio
University of Naples Federico II, Italy
He was born in Sorrento, Italy, 1974. He received the Dr.Eng. degree (with honors) and the Ph.D. degree in information engineering, both from the University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy, in 1998 and 2002, respectively. From October to December 2004, he was a Visiting Researcher with the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome, NY. From November to December 2007, he was a Visiting Researcher with the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. Currently, he is a Professor at the University of Naples Federico II. His research interest lies in the field of statistical signal processing, with emphasis on radar detection and optimization theory applied to radar signal processing. Dr. De Maio is a Fellow member of IEEE and the recipient of the 2010 IEEE Fred Nathanson Memorial Award as the young (less than 40 years of age) AESS Radar Engineer 2010 whose performance is particularly noteworthy as evidenced by contributions to the radar art over several years, with the following citation for "robust CFAR detection, knowledge-based radar signal processing, and waveform design and diversity".

He is a chair professor and the director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Information Fusion (AIIF) at Wuhan University of Science and Technology. He has been a visiting scholar at Newcastle University, Australia, and Harvard University. His research interests include distributed optimization, filter bank frames, graph signal processing, and networked control systems. Professor Chai is the recipient of the Distinguished Young Scholar of the National Science Foundation of China. He serves as the associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Circuit and Systems II: Express Briefs, Decision and Control and Journal of Image and Graphs.

He received the B.S. degree in information engineering and M.S. degree in signal and information processing, both from Wuhan Radar Academy, Wuhan, China, and the Ph.D. degree in information and communication engineering from National University of Defense Technology, Changsha, China, in 2006, 2009, and 2014, respectively. Now he is an associate professor at Wuhan Electronic Information Institute. He published more than 100 papers indexed by SCI. His research interests include multichannel signal detection, statistical and array signal processing. He is a handling editor or an associate editor with Signal Processing, Digital Signal Processing, and Circuits, Systems, and Signal Processing.

Mohamad Sawan

He is Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Engineering, IEEE Fellow, an internationally renowned scientist in the field of intelligent biomedical devices, and made in the field of implantable and wearable smart medical devices based on intelligent microsystem technology A major contribution. Academician Sawan received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sherbrooke in Canada in 1990. He was a postdoctoral researcher in biomedical engineering at McGill University in Canada in 1991. He was an assistant professor, associate professor and professor at the University of Montreal, Canada, from 1991 to 2018. 2001-2015 is the chairman of the Canadian study (in the field of smart medical devices). He is currently the editor-in-chief of the internationally renowned journal IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Circuits and Systems. In 2018, he joined West Lake University as a professor at the School of Engineering and Cutting-Edge Net of Biomedical Research and Innovation (CENBRAIN). His research interests include: Smart medical devices involve multiple disciplines such as microelectronic integrated circuits, wireless communication, signal processing, microfluidics, micro/nanophotonics, micromachining, and microsystem integration. Intelligent micro-systems are used in the medical field, including in vitro diagnostics(IVD), disease prediction, and human function recovery. Professor Sawan pays special attention to the diagnosis,prediction and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases and various diseases related to the brain, and is involved in emerging fields such as brain-computer interface and artificial intelligence.
Xin Xu

He is a Ph.D. Supervisor at National Defense University of Science and Technology, the winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, a Director of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, who was selected by Program for New Century Excellent Talents. Moreover, he is a member of the Editorial Board of the integration of information technology and industrialization in Chinese Association of Automation(CAA), a member of the IEEE Robot Learning Committee, deputy director of Young Crew Management Board of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, a member of the Intelligent Robot Professional Committee of the China Artificial Intelligence Society, a member of the editorial board of four international SCI journals such as Information Sciences, and the member of the editorial board of Acta Automatica Sinica. His Lab is focused on learning control, intelligent robots, unmanned vehicles, etc. The lab is working on solving the cutting-edge theoretical and technical problems related to intelligent robots and unmanned vehicles and pays attention to the combination of theoretical research and engineering practice to promote the rapid practical application of artificial intelligence theories and technologies in intelligent robots and unmanned vehicles.
